Business License Tax Tabled

Business License Tax – As you know Tillamook County was considering adoption of Ordinance 88 to establish a business license program for businesses in unincorporated Tillamook County. This measure was met with great resistance at several public meetings. Small businesses including the Doryman, are paying too much already and to be held responsible to verify that out of town contractors were paying this fee too, proved to be unrealistic. The County decided to attempted to schedule a “2nd Look” at this Ordinance but has since decided to cancel. It doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. Tillamooks EDU (Economic Development Council) will continue to explore for the future.
